<p>This will be my first solo game, so I expect it will be slow going for a bit. I'll be using Talespire for a virtual tabletop, and I've created some miniatures at titancraft.com for my characters.</p>
<p>I used the full 'random method' which maybe was a mistake, my group seems have to turned out much poorer than the sample. We'll see how it goes :)</p>
<p>My leader (me?) is Cormac Vasser, a Human Scoundrel (+1 speed). He's a military brat, which gives him +1 to combat. Order his his motivation, giving him a <strong>Patron</strong>, and 1 story point.</p>
<figure class="post__image"><img loading="lazy" src="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144058.png" alt="titancraft miniature for Cormac" width="960" height="1018" sizes="(min-width: 920px) 703px, (min-width: 700px) calc(82vw - 35px), calc(100vw - 81px)" srcset="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144058-xs.png 300w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144058-sm.png 480w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144058-md.png 768w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144058-lg.png 1024w"></figure>
<p>Joining him is Arok, an Engineer Petty Criminal (+1 speed), from the Lower Megacity class, which gives him an extra low-tech weapon. Motivated by Survival, this gives him +1 toughness. </p>
<figure class="post__image"><img loading="lazy" src="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144726.png" alt="titancraft miniature for Arok" width="937" height="1066" sizes="(min-width: 920px) 703px, (min-width: 700px) calc(82vw - 35px), calc(100vw - 81px)" srcset="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144726-xs.png 300w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144726-sm.png 480w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144726-md.png 768w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-144726-lg.png 1024w"></figure>
<h6 class="align-center">(currently using only free assets on titancraft, and I'm not sure what an Engineer should look like, but this is definitely alien :P)</h6>
<p>Zarah Solari, Human Hacker (+1 savvy, <strong>Rival</strong>), she's a wasteland nomad, which gives her +1 reaction and a low-tech weapon. Her motivation is Fame, giving her 1 story point.</p>
<figure class="post__image"><img loading="lazy" src="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/Screenshot-2026-05-20-145134.png" alt="titancraft miniature for Zarah" width="872" height="1044" sizes="(min-width: 920px) 703px, (min-width: 700px) calc(82vw - 35px), calc(100vw - 81px)" srcset="https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-145134-xs.png 300w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-145134-sm.png 480w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-145134-md.png 768w ,https://blog.booradley.com/media/posts/3/responsive/Screenshot-2026-05-20-145134-lg.png 1024w"></figure>

<p>Our ship is an Unreliable Merchant Cruiser, <strong>Low Expectations</strong></p>
<p>We ended up with a few weapons, a Fake ID, and a Distraction Bot. No extra money, so we're starting with 6 credits against a debt of 26.</p>
